Homework Week 9

Random stuff I learned between April 28th through May 4th 2025

I didn’t write anything noteworthy this week. Either I did absolutely nothing, was so busy that I don’t have time to write— or I just forgot.

So I’ll use this opportunity to write about exactly that— it’s hard to write when life is throwing a rapid-fire barrage of shit at you. But it’s also hard to write when life throw absolutely nothing your way.

In the first case, you’ve so much shit to do that there’s no time to write. While on the later case you have nothing to write about.

This is problematic since writing is actually a way for me to organize my thought, keep track of things so I don’t forget them in the future, and create something I can reference in the future.

After referencing my work notes— which I made every work day containing what I would do, possible blocker, and what I did the day before. I did actually learn something new this week— that is Mermaid chart

The killer feature of Mermaid chart that I love so much is, it is fully text based. Not only I can easily embed them in my Obsidian notes, they’re also very easy to write and edit.

I used Mermaid chart to diagram the SAP Document relationship in my company. I used the type of document as label, and all I had to do is just to write what relationship between two document is. Mermaid will handle connecting and arranging it with all the other document type, very easily.
