- My favorite seafood restaurant is open again, I bought some shellfish. I was so disappointed when I realized they started charging tax and service. Not only that, but their food quality also noticeably worsen.
- When I carried a galon of water upstairs (probably around 19Kg), I was out of breath. Funny thing is, 20 kg doesn’t feel as heavy when I’m lifting at the gym. I guess it’s partly the shape— and probably also because I’m already tired by then
- There’s this Instagram Reel about handling a picky eater. It suggests turning the child into a “food scientist”— complete with lab coat and everything. Having them experiment with different foods cooked in various ways. They’d take notes on how each one tastes and whether they like it. Not only will they try out different foods, but their experiment result can be used for future meal planning. Honestly, this would totally work on me.
- Today I learned about something called an “ASCII Smuggler”— a way to hide string within another. This video explained how this technique can be used to sneak hidden command into an LLM prompts.
- I’ve started to read again— this time, I’m picking up Barking up the wrong tree where I left off. I dropped this book a long time ago because the content felt a bit overwhelming— quite frankly my brain couldn’t handle that amount of knowledge. But now, I’m committed to finish this book.
- Every now and then, I help with metanding (creating Balinese offerings for holy day). And almost every time, I forgot what something is— either I will remember the name but forget what the item is, or I recognize the item but couldn’t recall the name. It’s always been a bit frustating.
